I have worked in many roles, it was only when I returned to university to undertake my Masters degree did I find I had a passion for teaching and mentoring. I continued to pursue this passion by undertaking a PhD in Corporate Social Responsibility under the business school in Sunway University, Malaysia. I am currently waiting in the UK for my eViva and to wrap up my studies (I am currently in the UK because of the current COVID-19 circumstances).
I have invested much time in improving my own teaching and mentoring abilities over the last few years whilst undertaking my PhD. I independently paid to undertake an online TEFL 120 hour course and passed this with distinction. I then acted as a teaching assistant in Malaysia for a semester and am currently teaching my second semester as a tutor of my specialist topic. All this teaching has been voluntary, as under the Malaysian student visa, students cannot work in the education sector. This teaching was undertaken for experience and personal growth.
Further to develop my own speaking skills and assist others with developing theirs, I joined Sunway Toastmasters club. Where I am currently serving as Vice President of Membership and am elected to be an Area Director in the coming term, where I will be in charge of five Toastmaster clubs. Within my Toastmasters club I have two mentees, one Chinese Malaysian and one Mauritian, and I’ve been happy in watching them develop their speaking skills with my assistance

Perceived Corporate Citizenship: A Scale Development and Validation Study
Research focusing upon the Corporate Citizenship derivative of Corporate Social Responsibility, moving away from the traditional organizational perspective and looking at the phenomenon from the stakeholder perspective. The study takes the form of a case study looking in depth at the imposed responsibilities and expectations of stakeholders upon the corporation. By bringing together multiple stakeholders to discussion their perceptions of Corporate Citizenship strengthen the empirical validity of the study, as one view is not being given priority over another.
