My background

I am a mum of two grown up children and a Labrador, living in rural Surrey. I have been teaching and tutoring maths for 23 years and have decided to now leave classroom teaching and concentrate on tuition. I have a warm and friendly nature and the ability to explain concepts and methods in a simple way that helps confidence and understanding,

Experience

I have been teaching and tutoring maths for 23 years at local independent schools and a top Surrey grammar. I worked for 4 years as head of maths and have tutored over 100 local children towards SATs, school entrance exams, scholarships, GCSEs and A levels, as well as just working on confidence and progress.
