My background

I am an experienced Scientist with a good track record on delivering high quality practice. I believe my consistent drive for high standards in everything I do, and my sheer determination allows me to empower students to become independent learners and develop personal responsibilities. I am extremely dedicated to providing an exceptional learning experience within the classroom for students, ensuring students are fully inspired to achieve their very best potential. Furthermore, I pride myself on providing appropriate pastoral support to students in order to provide the best environment in which to learn.
I am an extremely dedicated and loyal individual, striving for success within my teaching career. I love teaching, and take great job satisfaction from my work, especially seeing students grow into knowledgeable young adults striving to succeed. Having the ability and qualifications, along with the desire, to teach multiple subjects allows me to stand out from the crowd and ensure great differentiation within my teaching.

Experience

I am a current Secondary Science PGCE Student specialising in Biology. I have got a position to start in September at Cheltenham Bournside School where I will be a Teacher of Science teaching from Y7-Y13. I can teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3 and KS4/GCSE. I specialise in Biology at KS5/A Level.

I can also teach Physical Education from Y7-Y13, at KS3, KS4, and KS5 due to holding a BSc and MSc in Sport and Exercise Science. Furthermore, I taught BTEC/A Level Physical Education at Wiltshire College for a year prior to undertaking my PGCE.
