My background

I recently graduated from Oxford studying English Language and Literature and absolutely loved it. I am now studying for a Journalism qualification at postgraduate level. I am a rigorous and hardworking individual and have honed my exam technique over the years. I received 45 points at IB and 10 A*'s at IGCSE, and am teaching students for both GCSE and IB. I have past experience working as a private academic tutor as well as a consultant on Oxbridge entry and university applications.

Experience

I worked for several years as a private tutor to junior and senior school students. I sought out clients and tutored in Key Stage 1, 2 and 3 Maths, IB English and Core, Key Stage 2 and 3 English and university applications. As a student mentor for KE Foundation summer programme, I taught lessons on current affairs to international students. I also conducted interview practice and advised students on university applications and personal statement writing. As an intern at Wellington College Shanghai during my gap year, I taught EFL and reading to junior school students.
