My background

With over six years of experience, I am a friendly, enthusiastic and approachable tutor teaching students from ages 5 to 19 through previous employment in tuition centres, as well as my own private tuition practice.
My tailored and established tutoring method best identifies children's strengths and tackle areas of development. I encourage and motivate students to reach their true potential and cater the lesson to suit the students’ learning style. Through effective questioning, I challenge misconceptions that they may have, therefore are able to gain a better grasp of the subject matter.
I use my subject knowledge from degree in Mathematics and Physics and research to make the subject matter more interesting and relatable. My teaching experience has covered a broad range of children from ages 5-19 and from both state and private schools such as Notting Hill, John Lyons and many others.
In the initial session, I will gauge an understanding of the child's strengths and weaker areas through tailored tests and conversations with student. This enables me to develop a personalised and structured plan for the student that will strengthen their weaker areas and push them further in stronger areas, which I will deliver over the course of the tutoring period.
I offer tuition on a one-to-one basis, covering the KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE, 11+and 13+ curricula.
