My background

I have a calm yet firm nature and believe in boosting the self confidence of my pupils as well as their academic knowledge so that they can thrive in their fields of study.

I have taught in OFSTED Outstanding primary schools as well as Private SEN secondary schools covering pupils in primary, secondary and A level psychology pupils with outstanding results. I have specialist certification related to children with Autism and attention deficit disorder.

My students on average are able to improve their grade in a very short amount of time. For example, I had an A level Psychology student who was able to improve his grade from a E grade to a C after 8 sessions with me.

My teaching method is highly interactive. I believe in using different learning styles to enhance the experience of learning. This leads to effective teaching as well as a deeper understanding and enjoyment of learning from my students.

I am very passionate about teaching and most parents and students say that what makes me stand out as a tutor is that they can see that I actually care for my students. I have high expectations of my students and I support my students with self confidence in believing that they can also thrive to the best of their ability.

I believe that I can make a positive difference in my pupils lives and I take pride in doing so. Should you wish for your child to work with me, I am sure that you will not be disappointed with the results.

Experience

I am currently tutoring 11+'s in English and maths, GCSE maths and A level sciences.

Qualifications

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Brunel University. I specialise in Science, English, Psychology and special educational needs. I have high expectations of my pupils with regards to them trying their personal best.
