My background

Oxford graduate in Classics (grade 2:1) and current UCL master's student.
I teach Latin and Ancient Greek language in addition to Classical Studies and Classical Civilisation at GCSE, A-Level and beyond.
I specialise in literature and art, and also teach English Literature and Art History up to A-Level.
My methodology is systematic in the learning of grammar and vocabulary, coloured by a lively contextual grounding in classical culture and art, making plenty of links with our own times and culture, and encouraging the asking of questions in students which can help us as teachers improve and broaden our discipline.
In the analysis of literature, both Classical and English, and art, I encourage creative and fresh appraisals while adhering to a thorough grounding in established analytical techniques.
