As a student who was told I was no good at maths Im living proof that anyone can achieve anything if they put their mind to it, particularly given that I achieved the top GCSE maths mark in my sitting and grade A at A Level, in fact most of the time all it takes is someone to show them that. The doors that has opened up for me are immense, I was awarded NASAs Space Camp leadership Scholarship in 2017, am currently completing a degree in Aerospace Engineering and studying to be a pilot in the RAFs UAS system. I wouldn't have been able to pursue this ambition if it wasn't for inspiring people helping me at the right moments, I now hope to do that for others.
I have helped several students through their GCSE maths and a few with AS level, all of which passed. I also have experience leading young people in the cadets where i worked my way up to leading my section of 35 cadets, in this way I would like to think I have the capability to teach technical details in a way that is understandable and applicable.
I hold a BTEC in development and leadership, A levels in Maths and Physics (grade A) and 10 GCSES (three at A* four at A) and am on track to earn a 1st class Batchelors of aerospace engineering from the University of Glasgow
