My background

Hello! I am a 2nd year medical student studying at Newcastle University. I have previously mentored students in Chemistry and Biology over a two-year period whilst completing my A-levels. I would love to help A-level/GCSE students feel more confident and able in these subjects and help them to achieve their goals. I am keen to adapt my teaching style to suit each individual in order to facilitate or consolidate the understanding of key concepts in the way that they find to be most effective. I would also be happy to help students who are applying for Medicine with any questions they may have regarding volunteering, UCAT preparation or personal statement.

I can offer flexible hours to help provide support in helping students to keep on top of their studies whilst schools and colleges are closed.

Experience

As a medical student, my academic efforts were focused mainly on science whilst I was at school/college. Having completed the qualifications not too long ago myself, I understand that there are areas that can be tough to tackle. I achieved highly in both subjects and I'm really keen to help others do the same!

Qualifications

I am currently studying Medicine at Newcastle University as an undergraduate. I have obtained A* grades in both Chemistry and Biology at A-level/GCSE.
