My background

I believe that confidence is the key in learning Maths! Practising skills you find difficult and supporting you as you become more confident in your ability to problem solve in Maths.

My name is Laura Foster, I teach students who are targeted up to a level 7 at GCSE Maths. I am a fully qualified teacher and I have taught in Secondary and Primary schools for over 10 years and I continue to teach whole class lessons. I also teach adults who are looking for support with Maths/re-taking GCSE Maths.

I have taught in a variety of different schools (all of which are rated 'Good') - a faith school, a comprehensive mixed school, an all boys' school and an 'Outstanding' all girls' school where I also covered a Head of Department role.
