My background

I am a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Hull. I have completed three years of study at the university and I am now working towards my Masters degree. I also successfully completed a placement year at Cummins Turbo Technologies, Huddersfield. I am very interested in learning new ideas and listening to people’s opinions about various subjects. I like to work hard and put my best efforts with the aim of achieving excellent results. I like to help and assist students in learning and understanding subject matters. In my teaching I will make sure that students are able to understand specific theories and topics. I will aim to explain topics in an easy to understand manner so that students can get the full scope of the subject as required.

Experience

Throughout my experience at University I learnt a lot of technical topics like stresses and strains, fluid dynamics and material science. I gained a variety of mathematical and scientific knowledge which helped me to practice solving problems and understand practical situations. During my placement year I was very involved with observing theoretical knowledge transformed into practical scenarios. I learnt to be patient and understanding by communicating with a diverse range of people. I became familiar with managing and organising required work as necessary.
