My background

I am a fully qualified science teacher and tutor with over 10 years’ experience. I am a Chemistry GCSE examiner, which gives me great insight into common lost marks and mistakes, and I view myself as an exam coach. Maths in science is also key to exam success, and I work this into my tutoring as well.
I have taught most boards: AQA, Edexcel (GCSE/iGCSE) and Cambridge (iGCSE) and have a bank of past exam papers for all. All my students have either gained the grades they sought, or indeed in most cases, far excelled them.

Experience

16 years qualified science teacher and tutor. I have worked in state, independent and alternative schools (Rudolf Steiner). I tutor both privately and on the National Tutoring Programme. In addition to qualified teaching status, I also hold a certificate in tutoring.
