My background

I worked on pure mathematics for years. For that reason, I can demonstrate abstract contents with vivid explanations. What distinguish me from other tutors (from my point of view) can be summarised in two categories:

1) I provide cheat sheets (wherever applicable) for the students. These cheat sheets summarise the most important points and help the student to understand the major contents of the subject.

2) I also provide a quick summary (about 5 mins) of the lecture, at the end of the session. This is important part of my lessons and I prepare myself for that part of the lesson carefully. This helps the student to grasp the most from the lesson. This is a well-known (long term) memorisation technique for education.

Experience

I am a PhD student in Pure Mathematics at Glasgow University. I tutored the following courses in Glasgow University during my studies:
MATHEMATICS 2A: MULTIVARIABLE CALCULUS
MATHEMATICS 2B: LINEAR ALGEBRA
MATHEMATICS 2E: INTRODUCTION TO REAL ANALYSIS
MATHEMATICS 2F: FOUNDATIONS OF PURE MATHEMATICS

As for private tutoring, I started private tutoring more than 10 years ago. It is a passion of me to teach mathematics to the individuals.
