My background

*Pro Bono Accepted*

My name is Ioana. I have started my career in 2001 as a senior curator while continuously gathering new competencies in the areas of project management and graphic design both in Romania and USA. I have a BA is Arts History and Restoration, and a Diploma in Museum Studies.

In 2010 I decided to pursue my lifelong dream and enrolled in a Master of Divinity in Buddhist Studies. I had trained to lead meditations in mindfulness, loving kindness, exchanging self with others to name but a few.

Besides my expertise in Buddhist philosophy and psychology, I posses certificates in ADHD: Everyday strategies for elementary students; Mental Health: A Global Priority; Medical Neuroscience; Positive Psychology; Morality of everyday life and Public Relations.

I am a certified trainer, LPC, CARCSLR and a clinician in training. I am also the owner of KarmaSutta Counseling, a private practice that emerged from my humble motivation to be of help to adults, adolescents and younger children in dealing with situations that they perceive as burdensome.

Experience

Within the last 10 years, I have done more than 1000 hours of volunteering activity with different organizations worldwide, like: Children's Cancer Association - Portland, OR; Sisters of the Road - Portland, OR; Central City Concern - Portland, OR; National Institute of Neurology and Neurovascular Diseases, Bucharest, RO
