*Pro Bono Accepted* Hi guys!
I'm a Durham finalist about to graduate with a 2:1 or 1st in Physics. I'm planning to do a masters in scientific computing and data analysis next year too. I've plenty of experience with maths and physics and am keen to help others develop their understanding of these areas.
Whether you're an A level student wanting to polish up on a few areas before uni, or you're pre-GCSEs and not wanting to fall behind during the pandemic, I'd be happy to help!
Please don't hesitate to get in touch - I look forward to hearing from you!
Throughout my degree I've covered in depth maths topics such as complex analysis, Fourier transforms/series, differential equations and vector calculus. All of these build on and go far beyond the A level syllabuses for Maths and Further Maths, giving me good insight into the subject area.
I have also covered all of the core elements of a physics degree (Mechanics, Optics, Thermodynamics, Condensed Matter, Statistical Physics, Particle Physics, Nuclear Physics and Quantum Mechanics) as well as several optional modules in theoretical physics (Lagrangian mechanics, Special relativity etc.). I am happy discussing physics with students at any level.
Alongside the core physics and maths requirements, I have also been taught programming (Python) to a reasonable intermediate level, so am happy to discuss computer science questions with students (although I haven't sat any computing qualifications at GCSE/A Level). I intend to do a Master's in computer science next year so am well equipped to discuss computing topics.
