Hello!
I am a physics student about to graduate with a 1st in physics from the University of Warwick and begin a PhD at the University of Cambridge. I really enjoy learning about and teaching people about sciences and maths.
I have volunteered and tutored students during sixth form and while at university. During sixth form I helped to boost GCSE student`s grades from E/Fs to Cs. This mostly involved going over lessons and practising questions with students to increase their understanding and confidence at tackling problems. At university I continued this, mostly offering help with maths and problem solving as well as more pastoral care for freshers.
I really enjoy helping students understand problems and am happy to tutor physics, maths and chemistry for primary/secondary/GCSE/A-Level.
I look forward to hearing from you!
During sixth form and university, I tutored younger students, mainly in maths and science. In one particular case, I helped raise a GCSE student's grade from an E to a C. Furthermore, I have been tutoring a couple of students online.
- 13A*s at GCSE (including having taken maths early)
- 1A* (maths) and 3As (chemistry, physics and further maths) at A-Level
- Had an offer for Cambridge (though missed due to school mismarking coursework)
- 4 year masters in physics at the University of Warwick (just finished and expecting a first)
- About to start a PhD at the University of Cambridge in physics
