My background

I am a Senior teacher at an Outstanding secondary school based in North London, and have been tutoring for almost 10 years . Having been the head of the Science Department, and now a member of the Senior Leadership Team, I am able to bring my expertise to my tutoring sessions, and also share the excellent resources from my school with the pupils I tutor. Such resources include exam practice material and personalised revision resources. The progress pupils make is important to me (both in the classroom and in tutoring), and therefore I monitor and record this progress over each session. I believe engagement and challenge is crutial to promote accelerated learning, which is why each session is tailored for the pupil.

Experience

I have been a tutor and teacher for almost 10 years. I have seen students through their 11+ exams and also GCSE exams. My specialism is the Sciences (all 3 disciplines). All 11+ pupils who have been taught by me have passed, and entered into their chosen schools. My GCSE classes have a 99% success rate (Bands 5-9) and there is a clear track record for this.
