My background

I am an experienced Maths Tutor, having worked for [contact detail removed] in Watford and currently another agency [contact detail removed]. My degree is in Physics and have A Levels in Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Also studied for PGCE (Maths & Physics - to A Level) in 1994 at Kings College London.

I pride myself in having helped motivate, inspire and enthuse many students over the past few years. Most have gained at least 1 grade higher than predicted, however often 2 grades higher or more. I have excellent references, if required and DBS Checked.

In addition, I tutor face to face and online, familiar with both. Also strong knowledge of all exam boards and flexible in my approach, in that I tailor the programme of learning to the individual student.

I also believe that private tutors are better than secondary school teachers, because they are experienced in individualising the students programme.
