My background

Hi everyone!
My name is Carola, and I am originally from Turin, Italy. I moved to London 5 years ago to study at university (I have graduated in July 2018 with First Class Honours in Biomedical Science from Queen Mary University of London) and I am now studying Medicine at Barts and The London.
I have a big passion for teaching, and in these years I have been involved in private tutoring (mainly teaching Biology and Italian, my mother-tongue) and in Centre of the Cell, an educational charity at Queen Mary which hosts children and teaches them about medicine and science.

Experience

I have a big passion for teaching, and in these years I have been involved in private tutoring (mainly teaching Biology and Italian, my mother-tongue) and in Centre of the Cell, an educational charity at Queen Mary which hosts children and teaches them about medicine and science. When I teach, I always prefer to have a personalised approach as much as possible, especially when teaching languages. I also like my students to take regular assessment tests, to assess their strengths and weaknesses and adapt the teaching accordingly.
