Introducing Carey Ann

My background

I have been teaching for over 20 years, both English, reading and special needs pupils. I am particularly interested in ensuring that my students feel happy and confident in order to make sure that the learning environment is positive and fun. I have an excellent command of the english language and strive to ensure that they focus, not only on content and vocabulary but also dialect and clear speech.I am happy to have 'free discussions' or topic based lessons. Challenges with reading, comprehension and ensuring clear speech during reading exercises. I specialised in Learning Challenges and can assist both children and young adults with the areas they struggle with, albeit communication, writing and reading skills and general overall support (I am also a mum with a son who is on the Autistic Spectrum).

Experience

English, educated up to A Levels in the UK, attended University of London to do Batchelor of Education (Hons) with ESNS. Full TEFL certificate. Lived and taught English and Learning Difficulties/Special Needs in South America, Europe, UK and South Africa. I have run my own Property Development Business and my own Pre-School. I am passionate about teaching and making sure that learning is fun and simple to ensure that my Students are happy and motivated at all times.
