My background

My teaching method is completely adapted to the student at hand. When it comes to younger students grammar and vocabulary acquisition tends to be the focus; however, this is always done in an interactive and fun way and without neglecting pronunciation! With older children, I base my classes on producing authentic oral and written texts with a particular focus on exam-based activities for achieving those top grades.

Experience

I am a student at Oxford University studying French and Spanish. I have been tutoring for two years, teaching students of all levels up to A-level. My two most recent students achieved A* at A-level, in particular due to the speaking work I did with them. I have spent the last year living and working in Montpellier, France and Granada, Spain as part of my year abroad and thus have an excellent knowledge of both the languages and associated cultures.
