My background

I am a qualified Design and Technology teacher who now specialises in Religious Studies, Philosophy and Ethics. My degree was in English Literature (specialising in creative writing). I also have experience tutoring GCSE Music and Piano Forte. I have always taught Citizenship, PHSE and related subjects at secondary level as well.

I have been a secondary school teacher for 6 years working primarily in West London. I have a proven record of achieving high results with students from a diverse range of backgrounds and with a range of needs. I pride myself on being able to cultivate positive relationships with my students in order to get the best out of them and draw on relevant content and skills in order to maximize engagement and retention.
