My Background

Hi! I’m Alisia, and I am a recent graduate completing my bachelors at the University in Kent in Physics with Astrophysics! I am an outgoing (and outspoken) individual who loves going out with friends, travelling and painting.

I’m enthusiastic to tutor others in maths and physics, as I struggled myself with exams during my school years and so I’d love to help with both the subject content and exam/work management. I believe it is not only important to familiarise yourself with the content itself, but also to work around the subject in terms of knowledge and exam technique to ensure the best grades possible and to also prepare yourself for the next stage in your academic career.

I have experience in making the subject as fun as possible, and I won a public engagement award at University for my outreach work in schools. I will try to cater my tutoring technique to which best fits you, whether that be through discussion or online demonstrations, and I will help you identify which learning modality works best for you!

I’m very passionate about the subject and bringing more students into the field, as there is currently such exciting and rapid change in the technological and scientific sectors and I’m excited to help the next generation become part of the forefront of this change!
