My Background

I am a third year medical student, who enjoys teaching. My aim is to give students the confidence and ability to reach their maximum potential. Rather than giving students loads of facts to memorise, I try to give them the skills and techniques to work things out and answer questions by themselves. I base my lessons on the individual student’s requirements and I adapt my teaching style depending on what works best for them. At the end of the lesson, I use a mixture of revision questions and exam-style questions to test the student’s understanding and solidify their knowledge. I am enthusiastic about biology and have knowledge about the current A Level specifications. I am also happy to provide advice on the medical school application process.
