My background

Hello! I am a Newcastle University graduate with a degree in Dental Hygiene and Therapy, where I achieved a BSc (Hons) and often achieved the highest grades in my cohort.

I am an experienced tutor and I am passionate about helping students reach their full potential and goals, whether that is improving confidence, attaining or exceeding target grades or preparing for exams.

During my A-levels I studied Maths, Chemistry and Biology so I have a deep understanding of the level of detail which is required, be that for GCSE or A-level.

About my sessions:
I aim to tailor my sessions to the students’ needs, identifying which learning style works best, as well as identifying areas of weakness. I formulate an action plan for my students to establish learning needs and goals and how best to achieve these.

In my sessions, I aim to consolidate learning and fill any gaps in knowledge to fulfil the learning criteria of the chosen exam board.

I also go through exam style questions to improve exam technique and provide an insight into what the real exam will be like, as this is extremely important to achieve high grades.
