I am passionate about learning and having fun. I like to combine both of these things to encourage learning, particularly for younger learners, to instil a continued interest in learning.
I achieved my teaching credentials and education degree in Canada, and have taught there, in England, Scotland and Poland over the past 20 years. I have taught from 5 year olds to 19 year olds in English, Maths and Science. I have taught all subject areas for primary classes, including history, ICT, the arts and French.
I look forward to tutoring again, which was my first foray into education. I miss the opportunity to guide learners without following such a prescriptive path. I also look forward to working more closely with families so that each learner has a strong support group.
