My background

British native speaker with a degree and I have completed a TEFL level 5, 300 hours diploma. I have 8 years of experience of working with adults and children offline. I have a strong internet connection and a dedicated quiet office for teaching online.

Experience

Skills: I have been a qualified Social Worker for children and families for 8 years. This profession has enabled me to become reliable, punctual and professional as these are key skills I wish to model for students. My previous work experiences have moulded me into a euthanistic and confident communicator who can engage and motivate students from all ages. I also have experience using Zoom, Skype, Microsoft teams and Microsoft documents such as word.
Experience:
2012-current, Social Worker: I have 8 years of experience as a Social Worker where I have worked with children, families and professionals including attending the court arena. I have experience of working 1-1 with children to obtain their wishes and feelings, their worries, making plans on how to reduce those worries and child protection safeguarding which are skills that I will transfer as a teacher to teach children but also Business English with adults. I am a quick learner and passionate about working with children and adults.
2018-2019: 1-year experience of speaking and working with children in a faith and belief forum.
2018-current: 2 + years experience of working with adults to increase their communication, confidence, pronunciation of their speech and ability to speak in forums. I have attended events held in parliament regarding key issues and would post material on social media to motivate others. In 2018 and 2017, I gave two interviews and produced two articles published in different leading magazines.
