My background

Maths is pure hell for some. It was for me as a young boy and I thought that because I didn’t get the answers right it meant I was no good. I didn’t understand numbers, the vocabulary used or the abstract nature of maths and it left me bereft.
I am glad that nowadays maths is taught in a much more ‘child friendly’ manner and I am proof that if maths is accessible in the right way, is simply explained, fun, but most importantly the fear factor is removed anyone can do it. That is how I approach maths and I feel it is a fantastic way to enjoy... and dare I say... love the subject.
